Spurs coach Popovich blasts Donald Trump and anti-maskers

Speaking to the media in a virtual press conference ahead of pre-season, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich aimed his anger at the 'fibre of the populus' for the general reaction relating to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 71-year-old president and head coach of the San Antonio franchise also took outgoing US president Donald Trump to task.
“He can do what he needs to do for himself. He can intimidate. He can coerce. He can trick people. He is the best at it,” said Popovich. “He doesn’t really know anything. He can’t plan anything. He can’t manage anything so that’s why there is always chaos. And from that, he figures out how to spin things and we have what we’ve had for the last four years.”
