Huge offer behind Mostafa Mohamed rebellion in Zamalek
Zamalek's Egyptian forward stopped going to training to express his desire to leave but the club refuses to let go of the promising 23-year-old.
Media reports suggest that a source at Egyptian club Zamalek revealed that striker Mostafa Mohamed received a tax-free hundred million-pound offer from another club for a two-year contract.
Some former Zamalek players including Ahmed Eid Abdelmalek held conversations with Mohamed to convince him of staying until he gets a better offer after the Olympics but it seems that the 23-year-old is completely possessed by the idea of playing in Europe.
Zamalek's board was supposed to meet with the player on Saturday to make a final decision on his potential departure.
