Real Madrid fans riled as Isco and Marcelo are caught giggling during Alcoyano defeat
Images shown by 'El Chiringuito' showed Zidane failing to give his players instructions on 90 minutes. Madrid fans aren't happy with Isco and Marcelo.
Real Madrid suffered another humiliating Cup defeat - this time it was third tier Alcoyano who got the better of them in their tie at El Collao. Despite taking the lead through Militão's first half header, Los Blancos were unable to kill the game off and allowed Vicente Parras' men to get back on level terms and go onto eliminate them from this year's tournament at the first hurdle. For Madrid, the defeat left a black mark against every involved - particularly Zinedine Zidane. The coach admitted after the game: "I am the one who is responsible".
Real Madrid, lazy and disinterested in Alcoy
Far worse than the 2-1 scoreline was the apathetic impression that Zidane's team left out on the pitch - not to mention the attitude of some players which even surprised their own team mates. Spanish sports programme El Chiringuito showed Zidane hovering on the touchline and not giving his players any kind of guidance after the tie had ended level at 1-1 on 90 minutes. Alcoyano had equalised with 10 minutes of normal time to go, taking the tie into another 30 minutes of extra-time but there was no instructions or words of encouragement from the coach. The only player to receive any advice from Zidane was Marcelo - nor was there a pep talk by the boss with his players after the first 15 period of extra-time'.
Madrid had struggled to find a way past Alcoyano keeper José Juan and his back four, but after the first 15 minutes of extra-time, the only member of the team who Zidane had time for was Karim Benzema, who had twinges to his left leg. Zizou appeared to ask the striker how he was but that was the extent of their conversation.

Isco and Marcelo find it funny
Another incident that was picked up on by El Chiringuito was when cameras caught Marcelo and Isco chatting and giggling - to the astonishment of some of their own team mates. The pair were seen talking and laughing at the start of extra-time. Neither Marcelo nor Isco have been having the best of seasons and their performance in Alcoy, plus the sight of both of them apparently not taking the game very seriously, has infuriated fans.
