Guardiola gives Agüero update

Pep Guardiola offers the latest on absent star Sergio Aguero, who is nearing a return for Premier League leaders Manchester City, according to the coach.

The Argentine striker has not featured for City since 3 January having tested positive for coronavirus, which came after a period in quarantine following a close contact.

The 32-year-old player has now returned to City’s training ground but has yet to rejoin the group. He will not be available for City’s clash with Burnley on Wednesday evening, Guardiola confirmed.
