Koeman delighted by Messi
Koeman was quick to point out in his post-match interview that Messi has been a “decisive” player and has been so for Barça for “years”.
“He’s focused, he’s excited, he’s happy and he’s been very effective in front of goal. And he’s someone, when we find passes in between the lines to find him, he gives depth for the rest of the players. He has a great vision of the game,” said Koeman.
Messi has scored 12 goals in total in LaLiga against Alavés, the most any player has scored against the club.
