Champions League final - fans' verdict
Chelsea and Manchester City fans give their take on the London side's 1-0 win.
Chelsea and Manchester City fans spoke to the cameras in and outside the Estádio do Dragão following the Champions League final on Saturday.
Chelsea fans talked up Mason Mount, the homegrown young hero who set up the winning goal for fellow youngster Kai Havertz with a stunning pass, and coach Thomas Tuchel, while also thanking former coach Frank Lampard for laying the groundwork that led to the Blues' second UCL title.
"You can't forget Frank Lampard. Frank, he started it all off. He brought the youngsters on," explained one fan, before professing his "love" for Tuchel.
Meanwhile, City fans questioned the decisions of Pep Guardiola, who, much to the bewilderment of many, left Rodri and Fernandinho on the bench while opting to start with Raheem Sterling.
"Rodri and Fernandinho should have started. But we'll learn from it," said one disappointed fan inside the stadium.
