There were moments in which he did look like it was bothering. The former Kansas Jayhawk posted yet another brilliant performance scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. Tobias Harris followed up with 24 points for Philadelphia.

Howard foul ruled flagrant after review

The game changing moment came late in the third quarter when Dwight Howard was called for an flagrant foul after official review. Young with a big bucket late after rough shooting night

The baton was then handed off to Young who finished off the race with one of his signature 30 footers late in the game. Young finished the game with 21 points on 5-23 shooting. A steal and score from Danilo Gallinari put the Hawks up six and that was enough to close out the top seeded Sixers.

The Sixers responded in Game 6 in Atlanta after blowing a 26 point Game 5 lead. Seth Curry was fantastic, hitting six three pointers on his way to a 24 points night.

After the 104-99 win Curry was asked about this series going the distance, saying "It's fun. It's a lot of fun," he added, “That's a great team over there. ... You've just got to weather the storm and come back at them at the other end."

Four of this series six games have been decided by 5 points or less which has made for wonderfully dramatic basketball, and what better way to end a dramatic series then with a do-or-die game with a place in the Conference Finals on the line.

MVP nominee Joel Embiid has been under the microscope, after suffering a small tear in the cartilage in his right knee. He went tot he locker room in the second quarter of Game 4, and although returning he went 0-12 from the field.

The Sixers big man had 22 points and 13 rebounds, but instead of being frustrated with his knee after the Game 6 win he had some words for the refs saying "I just want it called both ways," Embiid said. "If we are going to call something like nothing on their point guard (Trae Young), it should be the same way when they call the same thing on me if I get touched."

Atlanta star guard Trae Young is averaging over 30 points a game in this series, and has put up 34 and 39 in the last two games. He will be needed tonight for the biggest game in Atlanta Hawks history in over a decade.

Young has got help along the way, in the form of Bogdan Bogdanovic and John Collins, and both will be key tonight in Game 7.

Embiiid was boosted by Seth Curry in the last game, and he will need some more help from his supporting cast tonight. Ben Simmons has been underwhelming in this series, but there is still time for the Aussie to have a huge night in the biggest game of his career.

Game 7 from the Wells Fargo Center is set tip off at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT. The winner will earn the right to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals.
