New Roma manager Jose Mourinho believes England striker Harry Kane will stay at Tottenham.

"Him signing a new contract, I don’t know. I would say that [Kane stays] probably is what is going to happen. I don’t see Mr Levy with the desire to sell him,” the former Spurs boss told TalkSport.

"Of course Harry was very clear before the Euros but I don’t see Levy open for that, but only they know."

Borussia Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc, is counting on having Erling Haaland at the club for the new season. 

Speaking to German outlet BILD, Zorc said: “Nothing has changed. We are still planning with Erling for the new season”.

LaLiga club Cádiz have announced the signing of Montenegrin attacking midfielder Milutin Osmajic from Sutjeska Niksic. The 21-year-old, who has won one cap for Montenegro, has put pen to paper on a contract running until 2024.


United "in pole position" for Kane - report

Manchester United are “in pole position” to sign England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham, Football Insider reported on Friday. The media outlet cites a United source as saying that a deal with Spurs may well be possible this summer. Tottenham want £100m plus two United players for Kane, Football Insider claims.

Arteta: Tavares "a player with great promise"

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has spoken of new signing Nuno Tavares' "promise" and "energy", telling the Premier League club's official website: "He is a young player with great promise who has developed very well with Benfica in recent seasons and has also shown his quality by being part of Portugal Under-21s. Nuno’s arrival will give the squad extra strength and options in defence, particularly with this energy on the left side of the pitch."

Arsenal have announced the signing of Nuno Tavares from Benfica. The Portugal Under-21 defender, who moves to the Emirates Stadium for a reported 8m-euro initial fee, has signed a "long-term" contract, the Gunners say.

Barcelona, Atlético reportedly considering Griezmann-Ñíguez swap

Catalan sports daily Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona and Atlético Madrid are considering a swap deal involving forward Antoine Griezmann and midfielder Saúl Ñíguez. The journalist Javier G. Gómara says such a move remains “at an early stage” but “would benefit both parties”.

Griezmann, 30, spent five years at Atlético before joining Barça in 2019 in a 120m-euro move. Ñíguez, 26, who is under contract at Atleti until 2026, is being strongly tipped for a summer departure from Los Rojiblancos, for whom he has made over 300 appearances since graduating from the club’s youth set-up.

Bayern have "no chance" of Chiesa deal

Bayern Munich have “no chance” of signing Juventus’ Federico Chiesa this summer, Fabrizio Romano reports. Chiesa, who scored for Italy in their Euro 2020 semi-final win over Spain on Tuesday, is integral to returning Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, Romano says.
