Messi waves at PSG fans as he arrives in Paris to seal move

After landing at a Paris airport ahead of his free transfer to PSG, Lionel Messi brought a huge cheer when he appeared at a window to wave at fans of the club.


Waiting Paris Saint-Germain fans erupted with joy on Tuesday when Lionel Messi appeared at a Paris airport window to wave to them, after arriving in the French capital to complete his free transfer to the Ligue 1 club.

A smiling Messi could be seen wearing a T-shirt bearing the words "Ici c'est Paris" ("This is Paris") - a slogan commonly used by PSG.

The former Barcelona star, who bade an emotional farewell to the LaLiga giants in a press conference on Sunday, is expected to sign a two-year contract at the Parc des Princes.
