After 83 days, the Premier League is back. The 2021/22 season begins Friday August 13 with Brentford to host Arsenal.

How do the ‘top four’ look?

Defending champions Manchester City are the favorites to keep the title. They’ve just signed Jack Grealish to strengthen their position even more, and they’re prepared to spend 150 million euros to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.

United has added Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane to spruce up the team. But will that be enough to help them win a Premier title? With PSG signing Lionel Messi, the future of Paul Pogba is still uncertain.

Liverpool were the champions in 2020 but struggled last season mostly due to injuries. This season, they’ll see the return of Virgil van Djik which should result in notable improvements.

Chelsea unexpectedly rose to Champions League glory last season and just snatched up Romelu Lukaku to strengthen the forward line.
