Messi is at PSG now - it’s time to move on, "we can’t live in the past"
Barcelona’s head coach Ronald Koeman says he’s not looking for any new players and the team they have will achieve great things even without Lionel Messi.
We’ve seen Messi’s in PSG clothing, practicing with the team, and telling us all how excited he is to be in Paris and playing with Neymar again. In PSG’s opening game against Sttasbourg, Messi didn’t play, but spoke to the crowd before the game began:
“I feel very happy and excited. Very happy to be here. Very happy with this new stage I'm going to experience. A lot of excitement and I hope together we can enjoy this year and make it a great year for us.”
It's time to move on for Barcelona fans
Messi and Paris fans are clearly excited and ready to get started, but the heartache is still bitter for some Barcelona fans. Head Coach of Barcelona Ronald Koeman says he thinks the team will still do well and hopes that the fans will support the team no matter what. “We cannot live off the past and these things happen.Players change teams and that creates opportunities for young players to step up.”
