Varane completes first training with Manchester United
After visa holdups and a period of self-isolation, Raphael Varane finally joins Manchester United in training after his move from Real Madrid.
Raphael Varane moved from Real Madrid to join Manchester United on a four-year deal with the option of a 12-month extension just before the Premier League opener, but joined in on training just days ago.
The team is coming off a 5-1 victory over Leeds on Saturday. Varane couldn't start at that point because he was waiting on his visa and needed to self-isolate after coming from Spain.
Varane integrating into United
Now it's time for the defender to fully integrate. He will wear no.19. It remains unknown when we will see him start in a game, but we should find out more from Solskjaer on Friday at the pre-game press conference before Sunday's kickoff against St. Mary's.
