The Wild Transfer Window: Who had the best window?

As August came to an end, so did the transfer window, and this one left us with some shocking transfers with the two best players in soccer switching teams.

Update:
The Wild Transfer Window: Who had the best window?

Just as a quick recap, in case you somehow missed it, this summer transfer window saw two of the biggest stars in soccer switch teams. The world was shocked back in July when it was announced that Leo Messi would not be staying with Barcelona, as previously thought. It seemed a done deal, but it was all over so fast. As emotional as it was, Messi settled in rather quickly at PSG and made the most of his transfer. Then we have Cristiano Ronaldo, who looked certain to move to Manchester City, but ended up transferring to United in an unexpected turn of events.

Premier League Transfers

Manchester United had a busy window. Along with Ronaldo, they also added superstars Jadon Sancho and Raphäel Varane. Chelsea was equally as active, bringing Romelu Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge. Manchester City added England international Jack Grealish.

LaLiga Transfers

Some later moves saw Antoine Griezmann return to Atletico Madrid on loan and Eduardo Camavinga to Real Madrid.

Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé were among players expected to move, but did not in the end. Mbappé is set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

There was some heavy spending this transfer window, but it was perhaps PSG who had the most successful window, with the addition of not only Lionel Messi, but also Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Achraf Hakimi, and Georginio Wijnaldum.
