Barcelona player ratings vs Bayern Munich

Barcelona's young guns finished the game after the Bundesliga side outclassed the home team with the help of a Robert Lewandowski brace at Camp Nou.

Update:
Barcelona player ratings vs Bayern Munich

We take a look at how Barcelona's players performed in their 3-0 defeat at home to Bayern Munich.

Ter Stegen

The German shot-stopper made two great saves from his compatriot Sané, one with his hand and one with his foot. One of Barça's better performers on the night. 7/10

Ronald Araújo

A solid performance by the young Uruguayan. He shows maturity beyond his years and leads by example. Quick, aggressive and strong, he has all the ingredients to become one of the best. 7/10

Gerard Piqué

He held his own against Robert Lewandonski, until the Polish striker bagged a brace. Age is not on his side and he continues to look exposed at the elite level. 6/10

Eric García

Not a night he will want to remember after Muller's shot deflected off his back and into the net for the opening goal of the night. 5/10

Sergio Busquets

The experienced defensive midfielder struggled to keep the ball at times. It is more apparent that his legs are no longer up to the task. He was the substituted as Bayern continued to dominate proceedings. 5/10

Sergi Roberto

The experienced player came off to a chorus of boos after a really tough evening against Sané and Davies down Bayern's left. Gerard Piqué admitted post-match that he found it difficult to see his team-mate get booed. 4/10

Frenkie de Jong

The Dutchman didn't do much wrong but Bayern won the midfield battle and despite being just 24, he already looks like one of Barcelona's senior members. 6/10

Pedri

He struggled to get into the game, although when in possession of the ball he looked to create. He no longer has Leo Messi to play to and was one of three 18-year-olds on the pitch for Barça at the end of the match. 6/10

Jordi Alba

He asked to be substituted and Koeman revealed post-match that he had been a doubt in the lead up to kick-off. He always looked to play forward and provided some nice crosses into the box throughout before he was taken off. 6/10

Memphis Depay

Lacking support at times, he continued to drop deep to start moves. He has become the team's free-kick taker and sent in some good balls. Araújo came close from one of his crosses. 7/10

Luuk de Jong

Not a debut to remember for the loan signing from Sevilla. He failed to really contribute and was eventually replaced by Coutinho in the 65th minute. 4/10

Substitutions

Gavi

The 17-year-old has plenty of self-confidence and is highly regarded at the club. Tonight was his European debut. 6/10

Yusuf Demir

His positivity with the ball was applauded in the stands. The Austrian has really caught the eye since joining the club. 6/10

Oscar Mingueza

He provided cover down the right flank after coming on and Bayern slowed down. 6/10

Philippe Coutinho

The former Bayern loanee received a good reception from the home fans. He tried two shots on goal and may be used more often going forward. 6/10

Alejandro Baldé

The 18-year-old came on in the 73rd minute for the injured Alba. He showed promising signs in his brief cameo. 7/10
