Barcelona vs Granada:

A late, late goal from Arajuo salvages Barcelona's unbeaten record and a draw may not be enough to keep the wolves from Koeman's door.

The whistle sounds and it ends 1-1 at Camp Nou.

97

Montoro to strike.... poor delivery as the ball falls to Machis. The game has zero shape now as impetus takes over...The fans, all 27,000 making the noise of a full Camp Nou. Pique fouls and the move breaks down.

Granada win a freekick deep inside the Barcelona half.

The ref has been busy as he books Carlos Bacca on the Granada bench.

Six minutes to be added

Great ball from Gavi to find the Uruguayan defender....

Goooooooool. Barcelona draw level at the death... It's Araujo who heads home to tie the game.

Pure frustration from the Barcelona side as the clock lurks towards the 90 minute mark

Trouble here at Camp Nou as Araujo is carded for a push. Quini carded too as players from both teams get involved in a bit of pushing and shoving.

Another card, this time for Monchu for a trip on Dest

Maximiano carded for time wasting

Free kick for Granada which they are in no hurry to take.... The clock ticks down and Koeman is carded for complaining.

84

Great urgency from Barcelona now with the Catalan side just minutes away from their first defeat at home in the league.

83

Great interception from Quini who has been excellent for Granada tonight in the right back position.

RK

Dest assists and Pique heads but easy for Maximiano to gather. Less than 10' remain at Camp Nou. The knives would really be out for Koeman should Barcelona stumble tonight .....

80

Barcelona almost draw level as De Jong (Luuk) misses a sitter as the striker heads the ball over from close range.

79

Abraham is in trouble and looks unlikely to be able to carry on. Maximiano punches over from a teasing Mingueza cross. The ball was already out deems the linesman and the Barcelona player is far from impressed.

This type of stoppage is not what Barcelona need as Granada do their best to interrupt the game... Mingueza carded for back chat after a foul throw.

A Granada man is down and once again the Camp Nou crowd feel that this is a time wasting tactic... Abraham is the player who appeared to have fallen badly.

Busquets leaves the pitch with Puig his replacement. Pique also on with Demir making way for the veteran central defender.

74

No spot kick and we're back in action. Less than 20 minutes remain for Barcelona to salvage something from this game. Barcelona in danger of losing their unbeaten status should it remain 0-1.

Gonalons carded for the foul. Depay to strike.... Four in the Granada wall. Straight into the Granada wall... possible handball from the wall.... VAR to be consulted....

70

Great delivery from Dest and Granada desperately nod the ball away for another Barcelona corner. Still no way through for the Catalan side as Barcelona win a dangerous free right on the edge of the box. Messi territory .... sorry wrong season ....

69

Barcelona still bossing things in terms of possession as Granada, one again do their best to take as long as they can with dead ball situations.

Changes for Granada: Molina off for Suarez and Puertas will make way for Gonalons.

64

Maximiano in the Granada goal has been mighty impressive tonight. First time I've seen the former Sporting CP stopper in action and have been highly impressed with what I've seen.

Barça go close again as the ball is volleyed over the Granada box as Luis Suarez gets ready to come on for Granada. The Colombian too is an expert at the quick counter attack.

Coutinho makes way for Gavi

Memphis (who along with Dest) looks sharp for Barcelona tonght shoots but straight into the arms of Maximiano

Gavi set to enter the action for Barcelona.

56

Araujo goes close and looks on as his header drifts inches wide of the Granada post.

54

Granada do break well it has to be said with the men in white enjoying the swathes of space at the expansive Camp Nou pitch to move the ball quickly from back to attack as Machis is outfoxed by Mingueza.

Great ball from Coutinho which forces the Granada keeper to punch. Barcelona fired up now with the official attendance confirmed at 27,000.

51

Dest fouls Puertas and Granada look to threaten with Milla to take. Barcelona clean their lines and as we were for most of the first 45'....Barcelona in possession and every man in white behind the ball.

49

Bright start from Barcelona with, once again Dest looking bright and a likely danger outlet for the home side

We're underway at Camp Nou....What difference will the Dutch striker make?

Granada eventually return to the pitch and we're just seconds away from the second half. Neva set to make an entrance for Granada. Escudero making way for the No. 15.

Change for Barcelona as Luuk de Jong is set to replace Sergi Roberto.

Critical for Barcelona that they pick up in the second half from where they left off at the end of the first, where Koeman's side looked sharp.

The early goal from Duarte in the second minute the difference in the sides and as the half wore on, Barcelona did improve after a jittery start.

The whistle sounds at Camp Nou and Barcelona trail 0-1 at the interval

Busquets shoots as Barcelona enjoy their best spell of the half.

47

Maximiano saves again as Barcelona turn up the heat ...desperate defending now from Granada as Barça sense that the Andalusian men are on the ropes.

4 mnutes of added time

45

Barcelona win a free-kick as we head into the final minute of normal time. I'd anticipate at least 5 minutes of time added on... Memphis swings in the ball and Araujo heads but is denied by Maximiano. Great stop from the stopper.

Granada go close and Ter Stegen saves well from a forceful drive from Monchu.

Barcelona fans whistling at the decision unaware that the young player has picked up a knock.

Change for Barcelona: Balde off-Mingueza off

Granada with everyone behind the ball defending their lead with determinaton.

Card for Granada's Montoro for time wasting (kicking the ball away)

Mingueza set to make an entrance as Balde seems to have developed a muscular problem.

38

Granada doing their best to upset the rhythm of the game which impacts on Barça's style of play, especially when the Catalan side are chasing the game.

Duarte is now on the ground and gets to his feet gingerly and appear okay to continue.

36

Ten minutes remain in the first half at Camp Nou. Am sure there will be more time added following the various delays. FCB free kick with Memphis to take. Duarte clears the danger.

35

Duarte forced to steer the ball away from the danger zone as Barcelona press. Dest looking good for the Catalan side tonight as whistles ring out at Camp Nou with fans unhappy about the time wasting being employed by Granada.

Montoro does finally come on to replace the man from Cameroon.

Yan Eteki goes to ground again and irritates the Camp Nou fans who this as a time wasting strategy.

Yan Eteki comes back on the field as Montoro has to wait his turn.

Montoro set to replace Yan Eteki.

The Cameroon player clutched his hamstring and looks to be in trouble.

Trouble for Granada as Yan Eteki falls to the ground and will need medical assistance.

Memphis shoots from long range but the ball sails high and wide. Whistles from the Camp Nou as they sense a degree of 'gamesmanship' from Granada who are in no hurry to take dead balls.

23

Milla finds Machis with a long ranging ball and Dest slips and the ball drifts out for a Granada corner.

As is the way with a Barcelona game, the home side dominatibng possession tonight but trail in the most importabnt stat. of the lot.

The psychological impact that Champions League defeat (0-3 vs Bayern last week) has been significant for Barcelona with Koeman under fire more than ever.... Laporta defending the Dutchman but through gritted teeth and the sense of vulnerability in the team that has created among the Barça fan-base.

18

Good work from Dest on the Barcelona right as he earns another corner for the home side as Sergi Roberto drives the ball off the crossbar.

17

Plenty of hustle and bustle from Barça but the men in white looking solid as they allow the home side to take the initative.

15

Good work from Depay with the Dutch player securing a corner for his side, first one for the home side as chants of 'Memphis, Memphis' ring out.

13

Referee Latre called to intervene as Machis and De Jong exchange words following a rash challenge from the Colombian.

Jorge Molina goes close with a fine volley.... Barcelona do look at 6s and 7s in the opening phase of the game.

Looking at a repeat of the goal, questions could be asked of both Ter Stegen and De Jong who lost his marker.

10

Barcelona looking for a way back now with Coutinho looking to thread the ball through to Memphis.

A few 'Força Koeman" banners spotted in the Camp Nou stands tonight. The FCB faithful very much divided on the Dutch coach.

6

Barcelona shell-shocked from the early goal as Granada head forward again with Machis looking threatening

Poor positoning from Ter Stegen

Duarte heads Granada ahead after 90 seconds.

Early corner for Granada, Escudero takes and Granada score ...... Gooooooooooool.

1

All set at Camp Nou.... Granada set to start the game....

An early scan of the stand would suggest that we're well below the 30,000 fans permitted. A minute's silence will be held pre game to mark the passing of a former member of the FCB youth system set up.

A reminder of tonight's teams should you be joining us late.

"Tots al Camp.... rings out the stadium megaphone with the FC Barcelona club anthem.

The sides are in the tunnel. Barcelona in this year's version of the 'azul-grana' shirt that has divided the fan-base. Granada tonight in all white.

FC Barcelona warm up as kick-off looms

It's a wet and wild one at Camp Nou with weather conditions likely to influence tonight's attendance

weather

Barcelona-Granada: weather conditions

It's been a grey and wet day in the Catalan capital and a temperature of 20C/70F is anticipated come kick-off. Rain likley however during the game with an 80% chance of showers.

Approximately 30,000 fans are expected at Camp Nou this evening and it will be interesting to see the reaction that greets Koeman with last weeks 0-3 reverse at the hands of Bayern where Barcelona failed to muster a shot in the entire 90 minutes had many Cules ready to produce the white hankies.

Suarez

One to watch - Granada CF: Luis Suarez

The Colombian striker has bagged both goals for the 'Nazaries' this season and has been impressive in the striking role since his move from Real Zaragoza.

Missing for Barcelona tonight are Jordi Alba, Pedri along with long term absentees Ansu Fati, Dembele, Braithwaite and Aguero. Ansu Fati is expected back in seven to ten days and will be like a new signng for the Dutch coach.

Coutinho

Barcelona XI

Koeman gives starts to Coutinho as well as youth players Balde and Demir! A great opportunity tonight for the Brazilian to impress.

LaLiga

Barça currently lie in tenth position in LaLiga having only played three games with two wins and a draw from the openers. A win essential for Koeman's side to maintain pressure on the too sides.

Koeman not worried about Barcelona future, hopeful of turnaround

Speaking ahead of the home game against Granada, Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman said he is not worried about his future despite criticism in the wake of last week's drubbing by Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

"The only thing is to think about the game, think about the team," the 58-year-old coach said. "The other things are not in my hands."

In LaLiga, the Catalan club are in 10th spot, six points behind leaders and arch-rivals Real Madrid. But Barcelona have two games in hand, and Koeman was confident his injury-ravaged team would return to winning ways.

"So I'm calm, I'm trusting that we are going to win games as we did at the beginning of the season. We have seven points from three games, so there are a lot of games to go.

"I know, in the end, the results count and nothing else. And I have no fear for my future. Ultimately the president decides on behalf of the club.

After having last weekend's away LaLiga game vs Seville postponed due to the unavailability of a series of South American players involved with international duty, FC Barcelona are back in action at Camp Nou for just ther fourth game of the season. The Catalans have recorded two wins and a draw in their three 2021/22 season league games.

RM

This Granada team are very much a 'work-in-progress' under new boss Robert Moreno who has overseen two draws and two defeats in his time on the bench and his side hover perilously close to the drop zone.

Barcelona fans will not want to be reminded of the last time when both sides faced off at Camp Nou with the side from Andalusia snatching a shock 1-2 win on 29 April which totally derailed the title aspirations that the 'blau-grana' held.

The final game of match-day five in LaLiga gets underway in the Catalan capital at 15:00 ET/21:00 CEST.

Hello and a warm welcome to our live LaLiga coverage as FC Barcelona face Granada at Camp Nou.
