Márquez admits it is tough to defeat the USMNT

It was a very important game, we had a negative record playing on the road against the USMNT and we had the opportunity to beat them that night with a late goal. That was my last game against the United States and I am happy how things ended,” said Márquez during an interview with Récord.

It is always tough to play against the United States during World Cup qualifying. Under Gerardo Martino the Mexican national team has been consistent, playing at a great level and there are experienced players that come from Europe,” he added.
