FC Barcelona officially announced today that Kun Agüero will explain his future plans at a press conference in Camp Nou in an event which will also be attended by club president Joan Laporta.

On 30 October, Agüero had to leave the field during Barça's league meeting with Alavés after complaining of feeling dizzy. He was taken to hospital for tests. A couple of days later, on 1 November, the club issued the following statement: "Barça player Kun Agüero has been subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr. Josep Brugada. He is unavailable for selection and, during the next three months, the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process".

Guardiola and Beguiristain to attend

A month and a half later, the Argentinean has decided to call a press conference with the president to give details about what he plans to do next. Kun's appearance before the media has caused great expectation in Barcelona and two special guests will be on hand to give the player their support - Pep Guardiola and Txiki Beguiristain. Local outlet Esport3 confirmed that the Manchester City manager and Director of Sport will be present at the event in which Agüero is expected to announce his retirement.
