Following the elimination of the Steelers by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Wild Card Round, Pittsburgh will have to plan for the upcoming season and focus on the players that will remain on the roster.

Along with Big Ben possibly retiring, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is no longer on the Steelers' roster, as his contract just ended. And while the fifth-year player has suffered a shoulder injury, and is coming out of a sad loss to the Chiefs, he still showed interest in staying with Pittsburgh during his final postgame conference.

Honestly, it would be a blessing. I love the city, the fans of Coach Tomlin, my teammates and coaches. It's been amazing, my run here has been amazing. It would be great to stay and play with them. It would be great to stay another four years”, he declared at the end of the game about staying in the team.

Despite practicing only twice after being recovered from the injured list, Smith-Schuster played 52 of the 68 snaps Pittsburgh's offense played against Kansas City and caught five of eight throws his way for 26 yards.

The 25-year-old had his most prolific season in 2018, when he was invited to the Pro Bowl after catching 111 of 166 passes thrown his way for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns.
