Ireland's Bohemian FC release Bob Marley tribute shirt
The Dublin based outfit have released the 2022 away shirt as part of a collaboration with the Marley Estate with a percentage of the profits destined for Irish asylum centers.
North Dublin based side Bohemian FC have created a stir with the release of their new 2022 away shirt which pays tribute to one of the most iconic musicians of the 21st century and the pioneer of reggae in Bob Marley.
The shirt has been conceived in conjunction with the Marley Estate and the Bravado group who manage Marley merchandise releases. The shirt commentates the Jamaican artist's last ever outdoor show which took place at Bohs' Dalymount Park Stadium on 6 July (1980).
The top flight Irish side initially planned the release of the shirt in 2018 but image rights issues hampered the initiative. 10% of all profits from shirt sales will go to the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland (MASI) with the money destined to purchase musical instruments and football equipment to be delivered to asylum centres around the country.
