USMNT stars that could move clubs in summer transfer window

During the winter transfer window, 33 players from Major League Soccer were transferred to different clubs across Europe and the number keeps growing year after year. Once these players make it to Europe, they adapt quickly and UEFA Champions League teams start to show interest in their positive development. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, these are the most important players that could make the switch in the upcoming months.

Brenden Aaronson

The United States international quickly earned a starting role at RB Salzburg after arriving in the winter of 2021 from Philadelphia Union. Aaronson has scored three goals and provided eight assists in 27 appearances across all competitions. Leeds United tried to sign him last month and they will most likely make another bid in the summer. Other Premier League clubs are also keeping a close eye on the midfielder.

Sergiño Dest

The bosses at FC Barcelona were open to bids for the 21-year-old last month, but none were high enough to let him go. The LaLiga giants won’t accept less than $35 million for the United States international and clubs like Chelsea and FC Bayern Munich are keen on signing him. Dest will get another opportunity at the Camp Nou with the suspension of Dani Alves. The defender wants to stay for a long time at Barcelona, but he has to convince Xavi he is the right man for the job.

Tyler Adams

One of the captains of the United States men’s national team is drawing interest from several clubs in the Premier League. One of them is Arsenal, but he is under contract with RB Leipzig until June 2025. So any club interested in signing him next summer will have to pay close to $22 million to persuade the Bundesliga side to sell. Adams, who joined Leipzig in 2019, has 24 appearances across all competitions this campaign.
