Hip hop greats: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar are scheduled to perform at the half-time show next Sunday at the Super Bowl in LA. At present it hasn't been revealed what repertoire the artists will perform or who will pair up with whom.

During their respective careers, the involved artists have collaborated or guested on tracks with the others, prime examples being Dre and Eminem's 'Forgot About Dre", Snoop's "Still D.R.E" or Kendrick Lemar's appearance on Dre's "Genocide" track from the 2015 Compton album.

Eminem's last album release was the 'Music to be Murdered By' and despite under-performing compared to previous releases (it sold/streamed 690,000 copies), the Detroit native has sold over 191 million units since breaking onto the scene back in 1999.

According to a number of sources 'Slim-Shady' is worth 230 million dollars. His wealth is propped up by a solid back catalogue (on his own Shady Records imprint as part of a joint venture with Interscope) with his 'Marshall Mathers' and 'Eminen Show' albums alone selling more than 20 million copies and as chief songwriter, the 49-year-old will continue to receive handsome royalty checks from the likes of YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music.

Touring is another key area to understanding Eminem's wealth with the hip-hop star outsourcing as little possible when it comes to national and international dates.

Despite not generating as many headlines and column inches as he did back in the 2000's, Eminem has been sponsored in the past by 'Beats by Dre' , Nike x Jordan Brand and Cahrhartt clothing.
