LeBron James hits game-winning shot in NBA All-Star game
LeBron James, captain of his NBA All-Star team, hit the game-winning shot to beat Team Durant in his home state of Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, 163-160.
It was none other than LeBron James himself who scored the game-winning shot in the NBA All-Star game this Sunday.
Team LeBron beat Team Durant 163-160 in the NBA All-Star game in Cleveland. The game has a new format this year, and in the fourth quarter, there is no game clock. Instead, there is a target score, which for this game, was 163.
James was guarded by Bulls guard Zach LaVine and 76ers Joel Embiid came over to his aid, but it was unnecessary, as LaVine didn't stand a chance against James. He turned and shot the fadeaway to make the game 163-160, beating Team Durant.
The money won in the All-Star game goes to charities. Team LeBron raised a total of $450,000 for the Kent State I Promise Scholars program and Team Durant raised $300,000 to go to the Cleveland Food Bank.
