Report: Sergio Ramos in talks with LA Galaxy
The veteran defender has been dealing with a serious injury since arriving at PSG in the summer and the club is reportedly trying to terminate his contract.
Sergio Ramos left Real Madrid in the summer and signed a two-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain. There were high expectations around seeing the defender from Spain in the same team as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar and company this campaign.
Unfortunately, Ramos has been dealing with a calf injury since arriving at the Ligue 1 club and has only made five appearances across all competitions. The people in charge at PSG are reportedly fed up with the situation and are trying to terminate the 35-year-old’s contract this summer.
MLS could be Ramos’ next destination
According to journalist Santi Aouna, the Los Angeles Galaxy have approached Ramos about moving to Major League Soccer in July. The MLS side has been closely following the situation with Paris Saint-Germain and it looks like there could be a chance that Ramos will accept the offer.
Per the report, the former Real Madrid captain will make a decision regarding his future in the next few months because retirement is an option if injuries keep preventing him from playing. Currently, Ramos is recovering from a calf injury and is expected to return on 2 March.
