Ja Morant on fire with dunks and 52-point record!
Ja Morant left the crowd in awe after his performance last night, dazzled with fast-break slam dunk and then broke his own record he set just two days ago.
Ja Morant is on fire lately! The Memphis Grizzlies guard wowed the crowds with his performance on Monday night, helping the Grizzlies get the 118-105 win over the San Antonio Spurs with his incredible dunks.
The fans were still reeling from a huge slam dunk by Morant, who jumped over 7-foot tall Spurs player Jakob Poeltl, when he knocked down a buzzer beater before the end of the first half, his feet never even touching the ground. Not only that, but Morant then added 13 more points in a row in the fourth quarter and broke his own record - one he set just two days ago - by hitting his career-best 52-point game. It would make the first 50-point game by a player in Grizzlies franchise history.
Morant was mesmerizing the entire game. He got to the rim so many times, passing defenders and making it look easy, scoring from deep, and hitting all four of his three-point attempts. The highlight reel from this game alone would look better than some players' entire career. He ended with the career-best 52 points plus seven rebounds on 22-30 shooting.
