The Golden Raspberry Awards, better known as the Razzie Awards announced their 2023 nominees list on Monday. The award show took to both its website and YouTube to post the full list for movie lovers and followers to see.

Although the show has no host or location, the ceremony is set to take place on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

What are the Razzie awards?

Founded in 1981, The Golden Raspberry Awards is a parody award show honoring the worst of cinematic underachievements. Co-founded by UCLA film graduates and film industry veterans John J. B. Wilson and Mo Murphy, the Razzie Awards’ satirical annual ceremony has preceded its opposite, the Academy Awards, for four decades.

Who leads the way in 2023 Razzie Award nominations?

Although all the films on this list did fairly well with audiences, the Razzie Awards have decided that these films deserved a shout-out.

Topping the list is Netflix’s ‘Blonde’, which leads the nominations with eight in total for categories such as Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actor, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Screen Couple for “Andrew Dominik & His Issues with Women,” and more.

Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly’s film ‘Good Mourning’ received seven nominations for categories such as Worst Actor, Worst Picture, Worst Director, and more.

Disney made the list with six nominations for their live-action adaptation of ‘Pinocchio’ in categories such as Worst Supporting Actress for Lorraine Bracco, Worst Remake/Rip-off/Sequel, Worst Actor for Tom Hanks, Worst Picture, and more.

Morbius’ brought home five nominations for categories like Worst Picture, Worst Actor for Jared Leto, Worst Supporting Actress for Adria Arjona, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay.
