Actor Chance Perdomo dead at 27: What was the cause of death?
Actor Chance Perdomo, star of the television series Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has died of a motorcycle accident at the age of 27.
The entertainment industry is in mourning after the death of actor Chance Perdomo, star of Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, who died at the age of 27 due to a motorcycle accident.
“It is with great sadness that we share the news of the untimely passing of Chance Perdomo as a result of a motorcycle accident... The authorities have reported that there were no other people involved,” Perdomo’s publicist confirmed to Variety in a statement.
“His passion for the arts and his insatiable appetite for life were felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will continue in those he loved most. We ask that the family’s desire for privacy be respected as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother,” the statement added.
Perdomo was known for his role as Ambrose Spellman in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, as well as Andre Anderson in the spin-off series The Boys: Gen V.

Statement from the producers of Gen V
The series’ producers also issue a joint statement on the loss they suffered.
“We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person.
“Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense. We are so sorry for Chance’s family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.”
According to Variety, Perdomo intended to study law, but moved to London to dedicate himself to acting. He entered the National Youth Theater and trained at the Identity Acting School.
