The ‘Murder Mystery 2’ actor will only make another sequel if a certain prominent figure is cast in the movie.

Adam Sandler already knows the perfect cast member for the next ‘Murder Mystery’ movie. The ‘Murder Mystery 2′ actor said the making of the next sequel is contingent on Shaquille O’Neil being cast in the film.

Sandler is on a promotional tour for the upcoming ‘Murder Mystery 2′, co-starring his long-time pal Jennifer Aniston, which is to be released on March 31.

The film is directed by Jeremy Garelick, and along with Sandler and Aniston, the cast includes Mark Strong, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, John Kani, Dany Boon, Tony Goldwyn, Annie Mumolo, Enrique Arce, and Zurin Villanueva.

If Shaq’s there, Adam Sandler is not far behind

Adam Sandler spoke with Entertainment Tonight’s Nischelle Turner at the premiere of ‘Murder Mystery 2′, and revealed that a potential ‘Murder Mystery 3′ would be a go if it included O’Neil.

If Shaq’s in it, I’m in it,” Sandler declared. “I love Shaq and anytime he’s near me, I’m happier.”

Shaq can say the where and when

The ‘Murder Mystery’ movies are filmed in incredibly beautiful and stunning locations. Sandler muses that if Shaq could determine where the next films take place, he would be more likely to sign on to the project.

Next one, wherever Shaq says,” the ‘Billy Madison’ actor said.

Sandler tacked on some further incentive, emphasizing how much fun he and Aniston have during filming.

“Me and Aniston have a great time,” Sandler said, joking “and whoever wants to get murdered, hang out for six, seven weeks, eight weeks somewhere, it’s a good time.”

Jennifer Anniston also confirmed that she is willing to make a third ‘Murder Mystery’ film, though she is less demanding as per casting.

What is ‘Murder Mystery 2′ about?

Aniston and Sandler reprise their roles as Audrey and Nick Spitz, who now have their own detective agency, following their success in solving the murder mystery in the first installment of the franchise.

Now, full-time detectives, the whodunnit comedy portrays the pair off to solve their next mystery.

Four years after where the first movie left off, the married couple received an invite to the glamorous wedding of a friend they met in ‘Murder Mystery’ on a tropical island – where another crime is committed.

The official synopsis says the new detectives are “struggling to get their private-eye agency off the ground” when they take off for the wedding, but they don’t have long to wait before their detective skills are needed again.

The groom is kidnapped for ransom, and suddenly each guest is a suspect, including the bride and all the family members.

“Murder Mystery 2 sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of a shot at their detective agency finally becoming successful … and their long-awaited trip to Paris,” the synopsis reads.
