Sources claim a new Adele album is on just days after the singer extended her Las Vegas Residency.

Sources claim a new Adele album is on just days after the singer extended her Las Vegas Residency

Adele has reportedly been working on a new album and is planning to release it in the next few weeks. The singer is reportedly planning to release her most uplifting and positive songs yet.

The new music news comes just a week after the ‘Easy on Me’ extended her Las Vegas Residency with 34 dates after overwhelming ticket sales. The singer will return to the Caesars Palace stage in June.

An upcoming album

A source for The Sun explains how Adele typically takes longer breaks before releasing her albums. Her last album ‘30′ was released in 2021.

“Some of 30 was actually recorded before the pandemic hit so Adele was sat on the record for ages during lockdown,” the source explained.

“Since then her life has totally transformed. She has gone from rock bottom to being madly in love and wants the world to know it.

They continue, “Her music reflects that and the next album will be her most optimistic ever. She won’t be the queen of heartbreak ballads for much longer.”

Happier than ever in current relationship

Adele first met her current partner, Rich Paul, at a mutual friend’s birthday party before officially getting together in the summer of 2021. The two are rumored to be engaged and planning a summer wedding.

This would be Adele’s first public relationship after the end of her seven-year-long relationship with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, who she shares her son Angelo with.

Engagement rumors emerged in February 2022 when Adele showed off a dazzling engagement ring at the Brit Awards. She has also gushed about how happy she is in her current relationship before.

“I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him. I definitely want more kids. I’m not married. I’m just in love. I’m as happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married,” The singer told ELLE in August 2022.
