Aja Volkman, wife of Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, files for divorce
The couple had planned on getting divorced back in 2018, but later reconciled.
Dan Reynolds’ wife, Aja Volkman, has officially filed for divorce from the Imagine Dragons frontman. Court records show that Volkman filed for divorce on Tuesday, April 18 in Los Angeles.
The couple was together for 10 years and have four kids together: 10-year old Arrow Eve, twins Gia James and Coco Rae, 5, and Valentine, 2.
The couple has tried to make it work several times throughout their marriage. Back in 2018, they announced their separation, only to reconcile one year later. They had been vocal about working to repair their bond.
They split once more in September 2022, with Reynolds announcing their separation on his Twitter at the time. Reynolds has since deleted all tweets from his Twitter account.

The pair has had their ups and downs over the years. After their first split in 2018, they made a joint statement announcing their plans going forward and their intentions in caring for their children.
“After 7 beautiful years together, Aja and I’s marriage has come to an end, our children continue to be the most important thing in our lives, & we will continue to co-parent them with all our love,” the couple stated.
It’s believed the couple will split custody of their three children 50/50.
“I’m proud of you @danreynolds I’m proud of your humility and ability to still show up as the basketball-coaching baby-loving Dad that you are, I know that it’s been a crazy road,” Volkman wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post after their second split.
“It’s killed us both in so many moments. Last year we killed each other and now we are rebuilding.”
Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds linked to new girlfriend
After Reynolds’ and Volkman’s September 2022 split, the Imagine Dragons singer was soon linked to Minka Kelly, who is rumored to be his new girlfriend.
Kelly is an actress and model, known for her work in TV series’ ‘Friday Night Lights’ and ‘Euphoria’.
In the months after his split from his wife, Reynolds and Kelly were spotted going on dates and holding hands around Los Angeles.
