Al Pacino expecting a child with his girlfriend Noor Alfallah
The Hollywood star is set to become a father for the fourth time.
Al Pacino is set to become a father again at 83, with his 29-year-old girlfriend Noor Alfallah expecting a child. Pacino’s representatives confirmed the news to multiple news outlets including People, Hollywood Reporter and E!.
According to reports, Alfallah is currently eight months pregnant. The actor, best known for his roles in ‘Scarface’ and ‘The Godfather’ series, has three other children, two with Beverly D’Angelo and one with Jan Tarrant.
This is Alfallah’s first child, although she was previously linked to Mick Jagger, who she dated for over a year before they split up in 2018.
Al Pacino on being a dad
In 2014, Pacino spoke to The New Yorker about fatherhood, saying, “I’m responsible to them. I’m a part of their life. When I’m not, it’s upsetting to me and to them. So that’s part of the gestalt. And I get a lot from it. It takes you out of yourself.”
He also explained that his relationship with his absent father impacted how he raises his children.
“It’s the missing link, so to speak,” he said. “Having children has helped a lot. I consciously knew that I didn’t want to be like my dad. I wanted to be there.”
Hollywood’s older dads
Pacino joins the growing list of older Hollywood fathers. Recently, Robert De Niro welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79.
De Niro made headlines earlier this month when he corrected an ET Canada reporter saying he had six kids, clarifying that he “just had a baby” and was a father of seven. He did not confirm his relationship with Tiffany Chen at the time but has been linked to the martial arts instructor since 2021.
Gayle King revealed on ‘CBS Mornings’ later that same week that the couple named their baby girl Gia.
De Niro also has children from previous relationships. He has been married twice and shares two children Drena, 51, and Raphael, 26 with his first wife Diahnne Abbott.
He also shares two more children Elliot, 25 and Helen, 11 with ex-wife, Grace Hightower. He’s a father to twin sons Aaron and Julian, 27, with former girlfriend, Toukie Smith as well.
