Alejandro Sanz issues late night message to Candela Márquez after their breakup... then quickly deletes

It was a roller coaster lasting just over a year – one in which they only managed to share the same season once, in the fall. Alejandro Sanz and Candela Márquez have gone their separate ways after a romance that became public in October 2024 and, with its ups and downs, stretched until December 2025. According to Hola, “they are crazy about each other, but they are two very passionate personalities,” so at this point – and without the involvement of third parties – “they have said goodbye.”

After the news broke, the actress, who traveled to Valencia to spend the Christmas period with her family, delivered a lengthy message during an Instagram Live in which she hinted that one day she might write a book about her romance with the singer. She also shared an image of stags with imposing antlers and, to top it off, posted a snippet of La Perla, a song from Rosalía’s new album that the Catalan artist dedicates to her former partner Rauw Alejandro, whose breakup was surrounded by persistent rumors of infidelity.

Although the magazine in question was categorical in ruling out third parties – and therefore any cheating – the clues dropped by the actress seemed to point in a different direction. They were so numerous and so pointed that the singer himself broke his silence on social media to respond to the apparent dig. “I am not a pearl, I am an ocean,” he wrote at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday. Shortly afterward, he deleted the post.

Her alleged jealousy, his “getaway”

The confusion surrounding the breakup was debated on El tiempo justo later that day. On the Telecinco show, Leticia Requejo revealed that the relationship “was marked by Candela’s jealousy,” particularly focused on “a friend she has always had in her sights.”

According to the program’s contributor, the unease grew so intense that the actress even “called journalists to ask about her.” It did not end there: Requejo also disclosed that the singer took “a getaway” without his partner, telling her he had gone alone. Later, Márquez discovered through social media that, in reality, “he was with that special friend.” It really must have been a roller coaster.
