Despite claims she has moved to Spain and quit Hollywood, Amber Heard has said that isn’t the case.

The 37-year-old posted a new video on TikTok in which she opened up about life in Europe, while noting she has several film projects in the works.

“I love Spain so much,” she told a local reporter in Spanish, flashing an accent similar to those native to Spain.

She is also asked whether she plans on staying in the country for a long time, to which she responded: “I hope so. I love living here.”

Although Heard tries to leave the impromptu interview, the reporter manages to sneak in one final question, asking her if she has any more film projects in the works.

“Oh yes,” Heard responds. “I keep moving forward. That’s life.”

Heard and her move to Europe

Heard headed to Europe in September 2022, months after Johnny Depp won his defamation trial against her on June 1.

At the time, she was spotted in Palma de Mallorca with her daughter, Jonah Paige. Since then, the two have been seen several times in Spain, with several reports stating the actress had said goodbye to Hollywood.

“I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh,” the Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff wrote.

She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise,” she claimed a friend of Heard stated.

“I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project,” the friend also added.

Nevertheless, Heard has been spotted out and about several times during her time in Spain.

Just a few weeks ago, she was signing autographs for a fan while out for a walk in Madrid.

In the meantime, Depp has also reemerged following the trial, as he recently attended the Cannes Film Festival in France for his film, ‘Jeanne Du Barry’, in which he played King Louis XV.
