Are Bill Hader and Ali Wong dating?
Bill Hader mentioned a girlfriend while promoting the new season of ‘Barry’, and we now know who he was referring to.
After having a brief romance last year, it looks as though Bill Hader and Ali Wong are once again an item.
Are Bill Hader and Ali Wong dating?
While promoting the fourth season of his hit HBO show, ‘Barry’, Hader mentioned he had spoken to his girlfriend about taking a vacation.
“I need a vacation,” he told People at the red carpet premiere of ‘Barry’ Season 4.
“My girlfriend and I were talking and she brought it up that I haven’t had a vacation in 10 years, so I think I need to go.”
While Hader didn’t share who he was referring to, Page Six reports that Hader is dating Wong.
The couple had a two month romance following Hader’s split from Anna Kendrick, and Wong’s divorce from Justin Hakuta.
However, a source stated that their busy schedules brought the romance to an end.
“They’re no longer dating. They dated very briefly. They’re just super busy with things, but [the split] was certainly amicable. They’re certainly friends,” the source said.
Another source added that the two made sure not to let the relationship become public knowledge, stating: “Only a small circle of A-list comedians know and everyone was thrilled about it. [Their friends] helped them protect the relationship in light of Ali’s divorce.”
Hader and Wong’s relationship histories
Hader married Maggie Carey in 2006, with the couple announcing they had separated in November 2017, and later divorcing in 2018. They share three daughters together.
He then moved on to Rachel Bilson, with the two making their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes in January 2020. However, they ended their relationship later that year.
Hader then began dating Anna Kendrick in late 2020/early 2021, only for their relationship to end in June 2022.
As for Wong, she married Hakuta in 2014 and the two share two daughters. In April 2022, they announced they had filed for divorce, though they have remained good friends.
