There are a lot of musicians out there who love to be somewhat enigmatic, and Travis Scott has teased us all this Thursday with his latest Instagram post. In the mysterious way that you may expect, he has everyone now talking about “Ye and The Jack”... but we really don’t have much else to go on.

Travis Scott and Kanye: something’s coming

Certainly the suggestion from the short video clip is that a collaboration of some sort with Ye (formerly Kanye West) is in the offing. Remember that Scott is signed to Cactus Jack Publishing – his birth name is Jacques Bermon Webster II – with Cactus Jack also being the artist’s nickname.

See for yourself and make of it what you will. No doubt more information will follow, but how much clarity that will provide, only time will tell.

What happened with the Travis Scott lawsuits?

Nine out of ten wrongful death lawsuits stemming from the deadly crowd surge at the 2021 Astroworld music festival, including the suit filed by the family of Madison Dubiski, have now been settled. Dubiski was one of ten individuals who tragically lost their lives during the event.

The settlements were announced by Neal Manne, an attorney representing Live Nation, the festival’s promoter, and Travis Scott, the rap superstar who was performing at the concert. Only one wrongful death lawsuit remains pending following these settlements. The terms agreed remain confidential and attorneys declined to comment after the court hearing because of a gag order in the case.
