Bam Marger is in hot water again. The Pennsylvania State Police issues an arrest warrant for the former ‘Jackass’ star accused of a ‘physical altercation’ on April 23, 2023.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Margera, 43, caused “minor injuries”  to a victim in Chester County, Pennsylvania on Sunday morning. According to local news stations, Margera is facing four counts of terroristic threats and one count of simple assault.

All the charges are misdemeanor charges. According to TMZ, Margera is also facing an additional misdemeanor harassment charge.

Incident with brother

Several reports allege that Margera attacked his brother after leaving a signed note threatening to kill him if he called the police. An affidavit of probable cause claimed Margera also threatened to kill everyone in the house where his brother lived, which included his father and two women.

Reportedly, Margera fled into a wooded area before the police arrived at the scene at around 11 am on Sunday. Trooper Grothey for Pennsylvania State Police also posted the Arrest Warrant details on Twitter.

Representatives for Margera have not yet publicly commented on the legal troubles. Meanwhile, Margera has not been publicly seen since the warrant was issued on Monday.

Mom opens up about bipolar disorder

Since the issue of Margera’s warrant, his mother has opened up about her son’s troubles. She spoke to Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

“We all love him so much, and we just want to help him, and we are not against him,” the reality star’s mother, April Margera said. “We just want to try to get him help.”

She continues, “Your family loves you, and we just want you to get the help that you need. And we’re not ever going to give up.”

April Margera also disclosed Margera’s bipolar diagnosis and how he is known to go off his medication in the past.

“He just needs to settle down and get it straight, and I think it’s just hard for him to do without being on his medication and trying to wrangle him,” she said. “We just want him to get better. I mean, the things that he’s doing are not criminal in his mind. He just thinks he’s running away from his troubles.”

Previous legal troubles

The former professional skateboarder has been in serious legal trouble before. In March 2023, he was arrested for domestic violence after he allegedly kicked a woman. He was released from custody after he posted $50,000 bail the next day.

He was arrested again in March 2023 for public intoxication. In the prior year, Margera had completed one year of sobriety treatment but was reported missing after fleeing his rehab center in June of 2022.

It’s unclear if Margera resumed his sobriety treatment as he was spotted at a bar in September after fleeing rehab once again.
