Ayesha shared the news on social networks and through the magazine Sweet July, which she founded. She revealed that although they had already decided to only have three children, they decided last year to become parents one more time.
“We looked at each other and agreed that we wanted to do this again. For me, the decision came from finding myself always looking around and feeling like someone was missing. I would load the car and think, ‘Oh, I forgot something.’ But nothing was forgotten,” Curry wrote for the magazine.
“Maybe someone was missing,” she continued. “So we undertook this journey, knowing that in this way we would complete our family,” she added.

Ayesha Curry and the challenge of having another child in her busy schedule
The cookbook author revealed that she has noticed a change between her previous pregnancies and this one, since her life has changed and her children are older. “I am tremendously busy in a way I wasn’t before,” she noted.
“Now I have older children, who have full lives and schedules that we balance daily in addition to work and all family things. That has added an interesting layer to this experience,” she added.
She also reflected on how the arrival of a new baby, as well as the speed with which time passes, will make her stop and smell the roses. “That encouraged me to slow down and take in every little detail,” she shared. “I have decided not to be hard on myself,” she concluded.

The love story of Ayesha and Stephen Curry
The couple met when they were teenagers and were part of the same church group in Charlotte, North Carolina. However, their love story began years later when the two saw each other again in Los Angeles.
They reunited in LA when Stephen traveled to the city to attend the ESPYs and Ayesha had moved west to pursue acting.
Curry proposed to Ayesha in July 2010. The couple married on July 30, 2011, and a few months later they found out they were having a baby. Their firstborn was their daughter Riley Elizabeth, who was born in 2012; their second daughter, Ryan Carson, was born in 2015; and in 2018, they welcomed their third child, Canon W. Jack. After 10 years of marriage, they renewed their wedding vows in September 2021.
