Almost two months after releasing “Gato de Noche” (Night Cat) with Ñengo Flow in December, Bad Bunny is back with “Ojitos Lindos” (Pretty Eyes) with Colombian band Bomba Estéreo, from his album ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ (A Summer Without You).

As usual, Bad Bunny released the video with no fanfare, allowing the video to speak for itself when it was posted on Valentine’s Day on the artists’ YouTube channel.

Bad Bunny finds his true love

In the video, shot in Los Angeles and directed by long-time collaborator Stillz, Bad Bunny is seen spending time with various women.

The artist is seen going on dates at the movies, having fun at a fair, walking on the beach, dancing at a Bomba Estéreo concert while Liliana Saumet sings, and eating in fancy restaurants.

But the singer doesn’t seem happy when he says goodbye. He ends up speeding down a highway in his Bugatti, hitting a horse, and ending up in the hospital. It isn’t until Bad Bunny’s hospital guest, his puppy, arrives does the singer seem to finally be enjoying himself.

Running and jumping with the dog, the video ends with a close-up of the puppy’s eyes.

‘Ojitos Lindos’ is the true vibe of the album

The song “perfectly represents the vibe of the album,” said Tainy, who produced the song for Bad Bunny.

It’s one of those songs that instantly transport you when you listen to it. Hearing the combination of Benito [Bad Bunny] and Li’s vocals was incredible for me. It’s one of my favorite tracks on the album.

Saumet adds, “Tainy worked his magic to build ‘Ojitos Lindos’ with Benito’s vision and our Bomba essence.

The song was nominated for Record of the Year at the 2022 Latin Grammys, but lost to ‘Tocarte’ by C.Tangana.

Bad Bunny recently performed at the 2023 Grammy Award show, opening the show with his energetic performance and homage to his native Puerto Rico. He also won the 2023 Best Música Urbana Album Grammy Award for ‘Un Verano Sin Ti.”
