Bat-signal popcorn bucket launched for ‘The Batman’ re-release: How to get it

‘The Batman’ returns to theaters, and fans can get a special popcorn bucket that becomes a Bat-signal, to celebrate the Caped Crusader’s 85th anniversary.

It’s the 85th anniversary of the Caped Crusader, and to mark the special occasion, “The Batman” will return to movie theaters on Aug. 28. The re-release of the 2022 film starring Robert Pattinson is also meant to prime DC Comics fans for the premiere of the series “The Penguin,” a Max production that will debut on Sept. 19.

Movie-goers will have reason to be excited about the all-new, limited-edition popcorn bucket that will be available during the movie’s release. AMC Theaters will launch the special Batman bucket that comes in the shape of the machine that generates the Bat-Signal.

This collector’s item is likely to be a hit, like those that came before it, such as the Facehugger from “Alien Romulus,” the coveted sand worm from “Dune 2″ and the hilarious product from “Deadpool and Wolverine.”

Any fan of the DC Comics character will want to get the Bat-signal bucket, which AMC claims is almost prop-quality.

Starting Aug. 28, Batman enthusiasts can get the item for $34.99, and a new 32-oz. decorative cup of the Batmobile that will cost $11.99. The images of various Batmobiles morph and move on the tumbler which comes with a lid.

If you buy both items, the combo will cost a bit less, and can be purchased for $44.99. All prices do not includes taxes.

Bat-signal popcorn bucket now for sale on eBay

Although the popcorn bucket from “The Batman” has not yet gone on sale through the AMC theater chain, the collector’s item can already be purchased through the eBay platform, with prices ranging from $79 to $110, with shipping worldwide.

The high prices might put you off, but these special-edition popcorn buckets usually sell out quickly.

The other option of course is wait for the 28th, and get to the movie theater early.
