Bebe Rexha rocks hot pink Grammys look and hints at new album
The 33-year-old singer took the Grammy red carpet by storm with her take on ‘70s Barbie.
The 65th annual Grammy Awards are here and singer Bebe Rexha took the red carpet back in time with her Barbie inspired look.
Rexha, who is nominated in the Best Dance Recording category for her hit ‘I’m Good’, showed up to the Grammys in a custom Moschino cross-halter gown in bright pink with matching elbow-length gloves, platinum hair and swooping hoop earrings.
“That’s the vibe, we’re going for ‘70s Barbie,” Rexha told ET. She also explained that the GRAMMYs “never” get old for her, and she was excited to return again this year with her mom as her date.
“This time we’re just having, we are just going to enjoy ourselves,” she said.
Rexha hints at upcoming album
Staying with the theme of her retro outfit, Rexha revealed that her next album will also be inspired by the 1970s.
“It’s definitely more of a ‘70s dance world, which I’ve never done before’ so I’m really excited” she said “I say, as long as people want to dance, dance music will never die.”
Who is performing at the 2023 Grammy Awards
Although Rexha said that she’s most excited to see Bad Bunny’s performance on the Grammy stage tonight, there are plenty of other stars who are set to take the stage by storm tonight.
The previously announced performers include Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Sam Smith, and Kim Petras. It’s also reported by Variety that DJ Khaled may make a surprise appearance as a performer with Jay Z.
With a total of 18 performer slots, there are also several all-star tributes to be expected. Kacey Musgraves will pay homage to the late Loretta Lynn with ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ and Sheryl Crow, Mick Fleetwood, and Bonnie Raitt will honor Christine McVie with ‘Songbird’.
Maverick City Music and Quavo will perform ‘Without You’ in memory of Takeoff. Fifty years of hip-hop will also get its own tribute curated by Questlove, though the full artist lineup has yet to be announced with one surprise performer set to appear at the event.
