Beyoncé fans flood Etsy shop with orders for cowboy hat

Since announcing her upcoming Renaissance World Tour, Beyoncé fans have swarmed Etsy in hopes of getting a new hat.

Beyoncé is going back on the road with her Renaissance World Tour, and fans are trying to get the mirrored disco ball cowboy hat the singer wore in her promotional photoshoot.

The design and final product were created by artist Abby Misbin. Since Beyoncé released the photo of her wearing the cowboy hat, Misbin’s Etsy shop has been flooded with requests and has ultimately had to shut down briefly due to the high product demand.

Misbin originally shared the news about her collaboration with the iconic singer back in August 2022, posting a photo of the hat to Instagram.

“Something about my hat on beyoncé's head… chef’s kiss! match with beyoncé and shop the link in my bio. #renaissance #beyonce #beyonceoutfits #beyoncecloset,” the caption read.

Although Misbin did get a fair amount of orders then, requests spiked after Beyoncé's upcoming tour announcement.

Abby took to Instagram on February 3, posting an update regarding her Etsy shop.

“ATTENTION GORGEOUS CUSTOMERS: I’m so happy so many of you want a hat and am making them as fast as I can,” Misbin wrote.

“I’ll be updating my Etsy inventory sometime in the next few days [...] as well as changing the production time (2-3 months) to keep up with demand! each hat takes a long time to perfect and I’d never want to compromise the quality! all customers deserve beyoncè quality! So, if you can wait a little bit longer definitely stay tuned, you will not regret it.”

How much is a cowboy hat?

Covered in over 5,000-10,000+ hand-placed glass mirror tiles, Abby Misbin’s bespoke mirrorball cowgirl hat costs around $209 plus shipping and tax.

Although it is out of stock right now, the rising designer let eager fans know that they can favorite the listing to get notified on restocks.

The standard production time is around two to three months, but it can be sooner if you contact her ahead of time.
