The parents of Bianca Censori, wife of Kanye West, have expressed concern about her relationship with the “disturbing” rapper.
In November 2022, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finalized their divorce. Two months later, West surprised everyone by marrying one of his employees, Bianca Censori. Initial reports indicated they had a private wedding ceremony, yet it was not legally binding. However, in October, UK outlet The Daily Mail disclosed that the couple married under a “confidential marriage” license, with their marriage date listed as 20 December 2022, just a month after West concluded his divorce from Kardashian.
“Disturbing” behavior of Ye
The relationship between West and Censori reportedly raised concerns among her close friends and family. Censori’s family, in particular, expressed apprehension about her relationship with West. A source close to Censori’s family told the Mail that her parents found West’s behavior “disturbing” and “troubling.” They also feared that Censori might be a rebound following West’s high-profile divorce from Kardashian.
“Their parents were suspicious of him marrying Bianca just a month after his divorce from Kim. They really didn’t want Bianca to be a rebound from such a high-profile marriage,” the source said. Additionally, Censori’s mother was worried about West’s recent antisemitic remarks.
Does Kanye have the support of his in-laws?
While Kanye has not entirely lost the support of Bianca Censori’s parents, the report suggests that there are mixed feelings about their daughter’s relationship with the rapper. Censori’s father appreciates Kanye’s influence and prioritization of Bianca’s safety despite his fame. They acknowledge Bianca’s love for Kanye and consider it the most important factor.
Kanye met Censori’s parents in July when he flew them to Tokyo, Japan, along with her siblings. However, concerns have been raised by Bianca’s friends regarding the dynamics of their relationship. A close friend of the architect expressed worry about the rules Kanye has reportedly set for Bianca and her altered behavior since.
A source claimed to the tabloid that Bianca no longer acts on her own volition but merely “obeys” Kanye. Allegedly, Kanye has imposed specific rules, including dictating her speech and wardrobe. The friend also noted that Bianca has distanced herself from her previous social circle, even reacting harshly when a former friend inquired about her well-being, attributing their concern to jealousy of her newfound fame.
