Britney Spears and her mother Lynne are taking steps to repair their relationship after the pair met to talk things out this week.

Lynne paid her daughter a visit at her home on Wednesday, with Britney revealing they took steps to make things right between the two.

“My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it’s been such a long time,” she wrote.

“With family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!! And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!I love you so much !!!

“Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!”

As per Page Six, the meetup only lasted around 30 minutes, with Britney’s husband, Sam Asghari, also present.

The get together wasn’t a surprise to either though, with a source telling the outlet that the two have been texting one another frequently recently.

The news comes after Britney left the door open for the two to reconcile back in late 2022.

“After no coffee for 15 years … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!!” she wrote on her Instagram page.

The comments came after Britney hit out at Lynne just a few months prior, with the 68-year-old apologizing for all the pain she caused her daughter during her 13-year conservatorship.

“I love you so much and miss you!” Lynne wrote at the time. “Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I apologize for anything and everything that’s hurt you!”

Britney followed that up with a stinging message for her mom, telling her to go “f*** herself.”

The ‘Toxic’ singer was freed from her conservatorship in November 2021. It was put in place by her father, Jamie Spears, in February 2008.
