McDonald’s revealed a new celebrity meal deal during this year’s Super Bowl, and for the first time ever, a duo celebrity meal.

The minute-long commercial called ‘Knowing Their Order’ showcases several couples, including celebrity duo Cardi B and Offset, describing their partner’s McDonald’s order in detail.

“He likes a Quarter Pounder and a Hi-C,” says the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper in the ad. “He a simple man.”

Offset then responds, “What’s mine is hers, ain’t no stealing.”

The ad places the couple in a romantic Mcdonald’s dining room while it rains outside, sharing their meal together, feeding each other fries, and holding hands.

Couple’s Meal

The Cardi B and Offset meal becomes available for order on February 14, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The meal consists of a classic McDonald’s cheeseburger with BBQ dipping sauce, a large coke, a quarter pounder with cheese, a Hi-C Orange Lavaburst drink, large fries, and an apple pie.

The meal is intended to be shared by two and will be served in love-inspired packaging that features a Valentine’s Day card.

“Whether it’s going for a date night or grabbing a bite after late-night studio sessions, I’m always asking Offset to take me to McDonald’s,” Cardi B said in a statement.

Offset also added: “Let me tell you, McDonald’s is date night done right, it doesn’t have to be all boujee. Get your date, grab some good food, and have fun, that’s it.”

Other celebrity meals

Mcdonald’s has also partnered with other celebrities such as Saweetie, Travis Scott, Mariah Carey, and BTS, each time releasing a limited-time offer-themed meal.

Celebrity meals typically include an array of items curated by the celebrity. One of McDonald’s most successful meals was the 2020 Travis Scott meal, which included a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, and lettuce, along with a medium order of fries, BBQ sauce, and a sprite.

Following McDonald’s lead other fast food companies have recently started celebrity-curated meals. Burger King has partnered with Lil Huddy and Popeyes recently released a limited edition “Hottie Sauce,” in collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion.
