Cher celebrates 77th birthday with reflective social media post

Although Cher celebrated her 77th birthday, it doesn’t appear she’s all that bothered by her age.

Although Cher celebrated her 77th birthday, it doesn’t appear she’s all that bothered by her age.

Cher celebrated her 77th birthday on Saturday, with the pop icon taking to social media to ask the important questions.

Along with showing gratitude for her fans, the California native asked one big question in a Twitter post: “When will I feel old?”

“I keep hearing these numbers, but I Honestly can’t understand them. WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH #’s⁉️ I’m dyslexic & #’s Are hard 4 me.”

As for her fans, she told them: “Thank u for staying, I know it’s been hard. Got to go work out. Twitter is harder for me than TweetBot.”

Cher has been keeping busy

The post was Cher’s first in almost two months. However, she’s been keeping herself busy over that time.

“I’m going to England to make two albums,” Cher told E! News back in March.

“Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.”

She also added that she had high hopes for the work of her boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, though recent reports suggest the two may have split a few weeks ago.

“I think like any artist, when you’ve got something good, you’re excited,” she added.

The two began dating after meeting at Paris Fashion Week in 2022. During an appearance on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, Cher talked about what makes the two click despite their 40-year age gap.

“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” Cher said. “But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous. And I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”

She’s also been busy when it comes to property, as she put her Malibu mansion back on the market for $75 million back in April.

The home was first listed, as per The Wall Street Journal, for $85 million back in October 2022.

Listed by Robert Kass and Drew Fenton of Carolwood Estates, the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom and 13,126 sq. ft. home sits on 1.73 acres of land and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

“This house has been one of the greatest passions of my life. I have enjoyed every moment of its creation and evolution, but now it’s time to pass this magic on to others,” she told Architectural Digest in October 2022.
