Who was Chuck Norris married to? This is actor’s wife, children and grandchildren

The family of martial arts icon and actor Chuck Norris announced that he has passed away at the age of 86. He had been hospitalized after a sudden medical emergency just days before.

His grieving family have not said what the cause of death was only that they wish to “keep the circumstances private” and that “he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.” Norris is survived by his second wife, Gena O’Kelley, five children and 13 grandchildren. Here’s a look at his family.

Mike and Eric Norris

The martial arts expert had two children with his first wife Dianne Holechek, to whom he was married for 30 years until their divorce in 1989. They were high school sweethearts. She passed away in December 2025 after a long journey with dementia.

Their eldest son is Mike Norris, who was born in 1962. He is an actor and director and has collaborated with his father on several occasions.

Their second son is Eric Norris, who was born in 1964. He also followed his father into the film business and has nearly 150 credits for stunts and as stunt coordinator. He is also a racecar driver and has competed in 88 races with 4 wins according to Driver Database.

Dina Norris

The actor’s eldest daughter, Dina Norris, was also born in 1964 to woman named Johanna, with whom Norris had an extra marital affair. He shared in his memoir that lamented that he never told her that he was married. Norris immediately accepted that he was the father of Dina when he found out saying that he “didn’t need DNA or blood tests.”

The two have remained close since the first met, he even shared photos of the two of them together as well as pictures of her and their husband on holiday with their children.

Dakota Alan and Danilee Kelly Norris

Chuck Norris remarried in 1998 to Gena O’Kelly. The two met when she played a small part on his show‘Walker, Texas Ranger’. The couple welcome twins Dakota Alan and Danilee Kelly into the world in 2001.

Both have followed in their father’s martial arts steps, Dakota and Danilee earned their 5^th-degree black belts in 2021. Dakota is also a five-time United Fighting Arts Federation champion.

Both have also tried their hands at acting as well with Danilee appearing in Norris’ 2005 movie ‘Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial By Fire’, playing the role of Walker’s daughter. Dakota has an IMDb page that lists him as an actor and stunt extra but there are currently no credits on it.
