The ‘Ant-Man’ star recently visited Renner, who is at home recovering following a January snowplough accident.

Jeremy Renner’s recovery from a recent snowplow accident continues, with fellow MCU star Evangeline Lilly shedding light on his progress.

The 52-year-old was trying to stop his snow-removal tractor from sliding into his nephew on New Year’s Day according to an incident report from the Nevada’s sheriff office.

Renner was pulled under the vehicle and crushed, as the parking brake on the snowcat, which runs on tracks, wasn’t engaged. The snowcat was being used to pull his nephew’s truck out of the snow.

Renner’s nephew was able to help him until help arrived. The actor was later airlifted to hospital, where he underwent at least two surgeries and was treated in the intensive care unit for more than two weeks.

Lilly shares update on Renner’s health

Lilly is out promoting her new film, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, and revealed that she recently visited Renner at his home, and was pleased to see his progress.

“I was just at Jeremy’s house the other night and he was in a wheelchair,” Lilly told The Hollywood Reporter. “I walked in his house and I was like ‘Why are you mobile? What is happening?’

“I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn’t able to move. He was wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends.

“He’s made of something really tough, that guy and you’ve always been able to see that in him,” she added.

Renner’s recent update

Renner himself shared an update on his Instagram account on Monday, letting fans know that the Disney+ series ‘Rennervations’ will hit the streamer once he’s back on his feet.

“We are so very excited to share the #rennervations show with you all on @disneyplus coming very soon!!!,” the post continued. “We are coming to YOU , all across the globe… I hope you’re ready!!!”

The series is a four-part original series that focuses on Renner’s passion for giving back “to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.”

“Behind the big screen, Jeremy is a construction aficionado, and he is heavily invested in the highly creative fabricator culture that exists across the globe and hopes to change lives with these skills and inspire others to do the same.”

Initially expected to debut in early 2023, there’s no timeline on when the show will now be released.
