Time to start preparing for the fast-approaching Coachella 2023 music festival
With the arts and music festival right around the corner, Coachella 2023 is sure to be a good time. Here’s an inclusive list of everything attendees need to know before going to see their favorite performer this year.
Coachella 2023 will be hosted by the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The festival spans two weekends, with the first set of dates from April 14 to 16, and the second set of dates from April 21 to 23.
How to get Coachella 2023 tickets
With festival season only a few weeks away, it’s not too late to purchase tickets for one (or both!) of Coachella’s festival weekends. Tickets have been available for purchase since January 13, 2023.
Though tickets for Weekend 1 are currently sold out, Coachella’s website has an official waitlist, and fans can also snag some last-minute tickets from resellers like StubHub.
Coachella 2023 also offers shuttle services between the festival grounds and Los Angeles’ LAX airport.
What to eat at Coachella
Partying all weekend at music festivals can get tiring, and it’s important to refuel throughout the day. Coachella 2023 has an extensive list of food vendors and restaurants for all types of taste buds.
Notable spots for a bite this year include Word of Mouth Truck, offering delicious plant-based comfort food on Coachella’s camping grounds, and Chef Philip Frankland Lee’s Sushi by Scratch, an omakase speakeasy.
There are also two VIP food sections: 12 Peaks VIP and Rose Garden VIP.
Who’s playing Coachella 2023
This year’s festival lineup has fans of many genres tuning in. Rapper Bad Bunny is headlining day 1 of both festival weekends, joined by other well-known artists Burna Boy, Kaytranada, MUNA, and more.
Day 2 welcomes K-pop group BLACKPINK, followed by ROSALÍA, $uicideboy$, and Labrinth, among others.
On the final day of each weekend, Frank Ocean will be the headliner, making history as the first openly gay artist to do so. Other day 3 performers include Porter Robinson, Dominic Fike, and Latto.
For fans who can’t make it to this year’s performances, livestreams of the festival are also available through youtube.com/coachella, thanks to a partnership between YouTube and the music festival.
