Grimes is suing Elon Musk: what the singer is demanding for her three kids
The singer has started a legal fight against the business magnate over the children they have together, just another problem in the life of the X man.
Grimes has initiated a legal battle against Elon Musk. According to the information obtained by Page Six, the 35-year-old singer filed a lawsuit against the 52-year-old entrepreneur regarding their three children: X AE A-XII, who was born in May 2020, Exa Dark Sideræl, who was born through surrogacy, and Techno Mechanicus, a more secret recent arrival.
The complicated situation with Grimes and Elon Musk
The legal documents, filed on 29 September in a California court, state that Grimes, whose birth name is Claire Boucher, seeks to establish a “parental relationship” with the owner of X, formerly known as Twitter.
This petition aims to have the legal parents of the children born out of wedlock recognised. Grimes has not requested child support or custody rights. Currently, there is very little information available as the case has been sealed. Additionally, the Tesla owner has not made any public statements regarding the matter.
Grimes asks Musk to let her see her son
The Canadian singer’s petition comes weeks after she sent a message via X, demanding that Musk allow her to see her child.
“Tell Shivon to unblock me and tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer,” she wrote. “I have never even been allowed to see a photo of these children until this moment, despite the situation utterly ripping my family apart.”
She was referring to the relationship between the Musk and 37-year-old Shivon Zilis, but the post didn’t last long and was deleted. Grimes then attempted to diffuse the situation with the woman who had twins shortly after the birth of Musk’s second child with the singer.
“I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue,” she said. “This wasn’t her fault, plz don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.”
The reply from Zilis was brief: “all ended up for the best.”
In total, Elon Musk has eleven children, three with Grimes. He also has quite a lot of control over what is posted on his X patform.
