American sports dramedy ‘Ted Lasso’ airs its third season later this month. The show follows American coach Ted Lasso as he begins managing the fictional English football club Richmond FC.

The first two seasons were well-received by fans. This third season is rumored to be the show’s final season, and each episode is expected to lean more into the drama.

When does season 3 air?

‘Ted Lasso’ season 3 will be released this Wednesday, March 15, 2023. The release date was announced in January, and the show’s writers hinted at this season is the last this past summer.

“We are writing it like that,” Brett Goldstein told the UK’s Sunday Times back in June. Goldstein plays Roy Kent on the show and is also one of the show’s writers.

He continues, “it was planned as three. Spoiler alert: everyone dies.”

Jason Sudeikis, who plays Ted, alluded earlier in March that this season would signify the end of the football dramedy. Though some actors hint at their hopes the plan might change in the future, Sudeikis echoed his sentiments about the finale from two years ago.

“This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell, that we were hoping to tell, that we loved to tell,” Sudeikis stated in an interview with Deadline last week. Despite this, the actor remained open to entertaining the idea of possible spin-offs.
