How tall is Taylor Swift? Is she taller than Travis Kelce?
The singer/songwriter has released her latest album to much fanfare, and some ‘chemistry’ was included with her NFL boyfriend. But who’s the tallest?
If you’re reading this then you’re unlikely to have missed the news that Taylor Swift news has just shared her latest project, The Tortured Poets Department, with us. She’s also been touring the world, interrupting her Eras Tour for trivial things like the Super Bowl in February featuring her boyfriend who plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. They won, by the way.
As Swift’s bank balance bulges at the seams, growing each week, the finer details of her songs, her relationships and even her physique are demanded by her many millions of followers. They just can’t get enough, and one recent query has been the truth about the couple’s stature... without heels or cleats, of course!
Taylor vs Travis: who’s tallest?
To scratch that particular itch, I can tell you that Taylor stands at 5ft 9 ¼ inches (175.9 cm for any metric lovers) while Travis is measured at just 6ft 5 inches. That means that when they both step out of the shower the singer is eight inches smaller that her athletic beau. That’s as much as an iPod mini, the width of an average mousemat or a standard pencil. A Swift addition of those aforementioned heels and things are a lot more even.

How does Travis Kelce compare to Taylor Swift’s other boyfriends?
OK, before you start thinking of the various ways that we could answer that question, let me make it abundantly clear that we’re just going to stick to standing height comparisons. And lucky for us, Vulture put together this neat graphic lining them all up.
From Joe Jonas at 5′8″ climbing through Taylor Lautner, Lucas Til, Matty Healy, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, Tom Hiddleston, Conor Kennedy, Joe Alwyn, John Mayer, we reach, quite literally, Calvin Harris and Travis Kelce at 6′5″. Taylor fits in around a one fifth of the way across the list between Matty Healy and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Where did it all begin for Taylor Swift?
Toby Keith passed away recently at the age of 62, but he was the one who paved the way for Swift’s initial deal Alongside his accomplished music career, Keith played a pivotal role in Swift’s journey into the industry, with her prodigious talent being unearthed in 2004 while performing at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe as a teenager. It was then that Scott Borchetta, a former executive at DreamWorks Records, first noticed her exceptional aptitude for country music. Despite Borchetta’s desire to sign Swift to a record label, he faced a fundamental obstacle: the absence of a label under his helm.
Around this time, Keith had departed from Borchetta’s DreamWorks Records, which was subsequently shut down. He then established his own record label, Show Dog Nashville, where he not only released his own music but also signed other artists.
With DreamWorks out of the picture, Borchetta embarked on launching his own label, the Big Machine Label Group. This endeavor became a partnership between Borchetta’s label and Keith’s Show Dog Nashville, effectively becoming “sister companies.” Leveraging the resources of Show Dog Nashville, Borchetta seamlessly integrated Keith’s promotion staff into his operations.
With this infrastructure in place, Borchetta seized the opportunity to sign Swift, making her his inaugural major signing in 2005. Swift’s eponymous debut album, mostly self-penned, hit the shelves on October 24, 2006. Swift remained with the Big Machine Label Group until 2018, when she inked a deal with Republic Records. During her tenure with Borchetta’s label, she released a total of four albums, ultimately increasing that tally to ten with her subsequent label. And things just keep spiralling upwards for the mega star.
